After years of exploring the use of embroidery on photographs, Naufel decided that it was time to bring more color to her practice! The artist is developing a new series of mixed media works but at a pace she’s never done before. Since December, Juliana’s been navigating grief and gave herself time to focus on her healing and coping with loss. Nevertheless, she can’t wait to get back to the studio and create once again.
