One of the most important things in life is learning to appreciate your own company and this piece was created to celebrate how powerful solitude can be. When we take time to nurture our relationship with ourselves and learn about our needs, how to respect our boundaries, acknowledging our worth and be willing to make changes in order to live a life more aligned with our true self, the relationships that we have with others also start to change. This work was exhibited on my solo show ‘When You’re a Woman’, 2021 and it was also the cover of Creatures Magazine “Art in the time of Corona” Issue, 2020.
